Cedar Key I’m not quite Citrus County but April 26 to the 28th the Cedar Key Tiki Festival – three day festival where we will fill a small island slap full of Tropical Rock and Reggae music, good times, frolic,  drinks and Seafood. www.ckeytiki.com for details.’’

April 27, the 29th annual CCB family fishing tournament. Captains meeting April 26 at 6 PM McCrays of old Homosassa for information 352-746-9028; www.citrusmbuilders.com over 15,000 in cash and prizes, fun weekend for the whole family.

April 27  Citrus Springs Family Fun Day: parent and student retreat. Citrus Springs Middle School;  interactive three hour session with parents and students followed by family fun.

April 29 Second Annual Homosassa Pirate Invasion, 5-10 pm benefiting the Homosassa River Project at Crumps Landing, 50-50 raffle, silent live auctions, local food vendors, kids play area, pirates,  live music.

May 2,  10 Days of Natural Trails register to join in on a 10 day trail exploration of Citrus County trails;  register 352-527-7540 

May 3 Crystal River Friday Night Cruise-in: 490 Suncoast Boulevard. 

May 4 Birdies For Blessings Charity Golf Tournament Black Diamond golf course pre-register.  April 23,  9 to 11 AM…

May 4: 6 to 9 PM Dancing Through the Decades at 7077 Civic Circle. Line dancing break dancing, Macarena and even teach you how to “Dougie”. Food vendor on site and live DJ.  come join the fun!

May 11 8:30 to 2 PM: Citrus Kids Triathlon at Bicentennial Park Crystal River. This is a USA triathlon sanction event. Mandatory packet pick up and bike check in will be on Friday, 4-6:30. Admission will include T-shirt, finisher medals, backpack full of goodies, plenty of food and drinks Music and games and activities for the whole family to benefit CCEF. 

May 11, 9-1pm; Citrus County Sheriffs All-Hazards Expo at Florida Armory National Guard Armory; interactive kid zone, Student Art Show, Disaster Planning and Preparedness, Fire Safety.
