Home Inspections Issues Citrus County FL

I am back on my pedestal this weekend. After going through a home inspection on a home for sale, I again am asking you these questions …is your pool more than 15 years old and you’ve never had it resurfaced? Do you have a Challenger brand electrical box in your garage? …If you live in Bent Tree  and/or  Bermuda Dunes in Black Diamond… you better check that out.   People  trying to buy a  house with the Challenger box  cannot get insurance with that brand electrical box in it (fire hazard). It’s going to be almost $2000 to replace it …depending on home size.  Is your house near 20 years old? How is the door wall functioning ? Stiff to open?  It may need new rollers.  If you do not have a termite system set and a bond on your house…  you’re going to have a hard time selling it, especially if termites are showing up somewhere on the property.   Your kitchen appliances need to be working.  You can disclose that they  are not working, like a pool heater…but that does not look good for you as a diligent homeowner. I added pool refinishing companies, window cleaners.
